Sebastian Vettel threatens second place at the Grand Prix of Hungary later to lose. As a reason, the Automobile Association Fia calls that after the race too little fuel in the tank of the Aston Martin found.
Jo Bauer As a technical director of the FIA, the sports commissaries of Formula 1 made aware of a possible rule violation at Sebastian Vettel and Aston Martin. That could cost Vettel the second place in Hungary Grand Prix.
In the technical follow-up, Bauer and his team noted that the Aston Martin AMR21 no longer possessed the required amount of one liter of gasoline. Instead, only 0.3 liters were found in the tank of the F1 car. This is contrary to Article 6.6.4 of the Technical Regulations and could even account for disqualification.
