Even after Apple recently rejected the Xbox game streaming application, project XCloud, to be on iPhone and iPad, internal business reports that the Xbox manager, Phil Spencer told employees that the employees 'business bypass this problem with a "direct browser-based solution". This solution would eventually mean that Game Pass subscribers could access their library on iOS via an Internet Explorer application.
"We will absolutely end up IOS," notes the Spencer report at a meeting on the future of Xcloud. It also states that this "solution" is intended for an early version 2021. Apple has not yet commented on the question, but said for the last time that the Game Pass securities could only come up with their appliances if everyone had his own application.
By coincidence, just a few weeks ago, Amazon announced that its Luna games streaming service would be available on iOS devices via a browser application. Google Stadia has also encountered the same obstacles with Apple because it is only available on Mac via Google Chrome.
According to the edge, Microsoft still works on the official IOS application for XCloud in the hope that it will finally be approved. In addition, sources close to the point of sale say the service will be launched on Windows 10 PC in 2021, while it is in the test phase "for months".
The XCloud project was launched for the first time on Android-running devices in September for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers with more than 150 tracks readily available in streaming.
