Only recently we had reported that Matt Stone and Trey Parker have completed a great deal with Viacomcbs to secure the future of South Park. The deal includes both four other seasons of the popular animation series, some films and other projects. Furthermore, the team was able to raise additional financial resources to realize a new video game with their help. But which studio takes care of its development? The answer for many fans certainly amazing answer: no external.
As Matt Stone betrayed to Lucas Shaw by Bloomberg, South Park Studios takes the work on the hitherto nameless game itself. This is likely to grant the two creators significantly more creative clearance in development. This applies to the entire future of the South Park brand. So stone said:
