South Park: New video game is firmly planned

It is now four years back, when the Fractured But Whole was the last game around the popular animation series South Park on the market. The RPG arrived at the fans relatively well, but since then nothing more in this respect is. However, that could change pretty soon.

Recently, the two South Park Creator Trey Parker and Matt Stone have completed a new deal with ViaComcbs over $ 900 million. This agreement includes at least six other seasons of the animation series as well as a total of 14 streaming format films. As of a recent report by Bloomberg, Parker and Stone had also obtained funds from HPS Investment Partners LLC in the previous course of this year to cover other media areas. These include a documentation series and a "3D video game in the world of South Park".

However, further details can not be found in the report in this regard, which logically granted a lot of freedom for speculation. Among other things, the question arises as to whether the new game will remain true to the RPG path of The Stick of Truth and The Fractured Butt Whole or a completely different direction.
